The concept of Energy in Charisma School

This article defines and clarifies all the concepts of energy, magnetism, charisma, sexual energy, magnetic gaze, and so on. So it’s time to understand what we’re talking about.

It’s also important to point out that these are the Charisma School definitions. If you talk with teachers and read books on other traditions, please seek their definitions, as most certainly, they will mean different things from what we talk about here. Discovering and defining the meaning of what we’re trying to develop and accomplish is of essential importance in all disciplines, but even more so in subtle concepts, like the concept of energy, since it’s something that can’t be seen or measured by today’s instruments.

We can’t achieve what we plan to accomplish if there’s no clarity regarding it. So let’s achieve it together regarding all the concepts discussed in Charisma School.

In Charisma School, we talk a lot about energy, so let’s define this energy. Unfortunately, there isn’t one definition of energy, as each ancient and esoteric text talks about it differently. However, we can equate this energy to Prana, Qi, Orgone energy, or Freud’s instinct.

We can go through the yoga notion of prana. In several ancient scriptures, prana means breath. They talk about drawing the prana through the left nostril and expelling it through the right and vice versa. But in other scriptures, they mean more like “life-Force,” for which breath is the gross expression of this subtle force. Other texts identify prana with infinite consciousness and profound reality. Krishnamacharya, a great Indian yogi, linked prana to consciousness. There are plenty of definitions and different types of prana, even among the same traditions, so we need to cast a wide net to include all these possible meanings.
In the Chinese tradition, the term Qi also has several definitions and different types of qi. The Chinese use Qi in different kinds of domains. It’s not limited to energetic practices or traditional Chinese medicine; it’s also related to everyday life, like connections to emotional and mental states. For example, too many worries can cause damage to your spleen, and they are the result of a Qi problem in your spleen. Or unordered Chi is associated with being frightened and heart damage. Then we have different types of Qi, like, for example, Shen Chi, which is usually associated with the spirit and often with the blood. We have Gu Chi, which derives from food; then we have the Qi of each organ, Qi from the lungs, liver, spleen, and so on.

In other words, both the Chinese concept of Qi and the yogic concept of prana can be broad, with multiple subdivisions, and they are not as linear as we in the west believe. It’s not so simple as to say Prana or Qi is life energy and get it over with. And since we talk about energy a lot in Charisma School, what’s essential for you to understand is that we’re going to discuss several possible energy types, like tension energy and sexual energy, that can be subdivisions of Prana or Qi. Still, we can’t reduce them to tension energy alone or sexual energy alone like Freud, and Wilhelm Reich did with the orgone and libido energy. We consider them subdivisions of this whole and broad concept of energy.

The first distinctions we will make are between tension energy, personal magnetism, and charisma.

Tension energy: it’s a subdivision of the whole concept of energy, prana or Qi, that controls all physical movements, and yet, at the same time, appears to be something higher than physical itself; it’s generated with our nervous system in a controlled and systematized fashion. The nervous system conveys messages from the different parts of the body to the brain and the energy of motion to the various parts. In short, there can be no motion of any body part unless the impulse comes from this tension energy. When the nerves governing any body part are paralyzed, that part becomes devoid of activity. So you see, the nervous system is a part of the tremendous energy-producing system of the body – as much a part of it as is the brain. Remember this, as this is one of the bases of personal magnetism. By all means, tension energy is not the only basis of personal magnetism or charisma. Still, since we’re discussing energy today, we can say that tension energy is the energetical basis of personal magnetism and charisma.

Personal magnetism is the existence of personal power, influence, or atmosphere on the part of specific individuals, which enables the individual who possesses it to attract and influence others. These individuals flow with the vibrant tension energy and radiate this energy with health and vitality that is perceptible by all those who meet them or even are in the same room as them. As opposed to that, those who lack personal magnetism and tension energy don’t display this and can be considered vampires as they drain those they come in contact with. I’m sure you can relate to this when you are with someone; afterward, you feel down and depressed or negative. In short, personal magnetism is a projection of the tension energy to the outside world.

Charisma, according to our definition, is more extensive than personal magnetism. It’s more of a spiritual and personal quality. While it also encompasses personal magnetism, its range is more significant. We already have a video about charisma so I won’t go into much more detail here. We define it as a personal and spiritual quality, an appeal of personality that attracts others to you through a powerful energy you exude from yourself. But it’s also an inner power that allows you to control your mind, energy, and body. It’s the expression of a healthy, happy, and powerful person.

So, with charisma, we have as basis the tension energy – which, as you know it’s not the only one – we have an expression of personal magnetism and deep inner power that allows you to be everything you want and can be.

Now that you understand the basis of charisma, personal magnetism, and tension energy, let’s define sexual energy. What’s the difference from tension energy? Is it the same thing?

No, as you might have guessed, sexual energy, as well as tension energy, is also one of the multiple subdivisions of the broad concept of energy. Although tension energy will help you in the projection of sexual energy, they are not the same and are cultivated and trained in different ways.

Sexual energy is the energy that drives the urge of sexual impulses. These sexual impulses control so much of what we do, how we act, and our choices; if it’s not harnessed correctly, they can lead to great destruction. But when it’s appropriately harnessed and trained, great things can happen. By cultivating and learning how to handle this sexual energy, you can, for example, express your sexuality in a much better and healthier way, and you can avoid all kinds of frustrations and pathologies that come from the lack of control of your sexual energy. Unfortunately, many men have a complete lack of awareness regarding their sexual impulses, and because of this, they feel nervous when they are with women; they suffer from all kinds of sexual dysfunctions like premature ejaculation and impotence, as well as not being to deal with the typical everyday life frustrations that can be pretty apparent since we live in a very sexualized society where everywhere we turn, we see sex. On ads, on our computers, on the internet, on tv, on billboards, and so on. For this reason, we must learn how to handle this energy.

Now that we know the difference between sexual energy and tension energy, we understand they relate to personal magnetism and sexual magnetism. In the same way that personal magnetism is the existence of Personal Power, influence, or atmosphere on specific individuals, which enables them to attract and influence, Sexual Magnetism focuses exclusively on generating personal sexual power, which may also lead to attraction and influence. Still, it’s from using a different type of energy – in this case, sexual energy.

They are both the external expression of their energies.

Sexual magnetism is a much more sexualized type of projection. To get a concrete example, Scarlett Johanson, Angelina Jolie, and Johnny Depp are examples of Sexual Magnetism, while Oprah or Donald Trump and Churchill are examples of personal magnetism. Of course, you can have both, but one is usually more predominant than the other.

Aside from the energy that generates them, the difference between both is what others feel. With sexual magnetism, you’ll elicit feelings of sexuality. Personal magnetism is more like feelings of admiration and being influenced. They both require different kinds of training and exercises to cultivate. Still, once you develop one of them, the other one is usually much easier due to your awareness of the concept of energy.

So we defined a lot of concepts and different kinds of energies. So, where does the Magnetic Gaze fits in? Is it charisma? Personal magnetism? Sexual Magnetism? What type of energy does it use?

The Magnetic Gaze is a whole system of esoteric development with techniques and methods where we transform our eyes into assertive communication and influence tools. It’s not exclusively personal magnetism development; it can expand your magnetism as it works significantly with your body’s energy, especially tension energy. And it’s not only to develop your eyes… Although it has a lot of focus on your eyes and gaze, it has a lot more emphasis on energetical development.

It’s a personal magnetism system as much as an esoteric system to develop gaze, energy, brain, and mind. It stands on its own as a complete energetical development system.
