This is the fourth and final week of the Will Power course and I hope you’re enjoying it and taking benefit from it. Remember the WILL needs to be trained and used if you want to reap the benefits. I continued with two more life principles to used in relationship with others and a couple of more exercises that were still missing.
Considering this course is very heavy on the time it takes to do the exercises, I’ll only teach you two more exercises for this final week.
Exercise 9 “Nerves Training” – This will teach you how to have nerves of steel, while developing huge amounts of patience and attention. It will be particularly good for those of us who are really very impatient and want everything right now. Patience is a quality that must be developed if we really want to have a strong will.
Exercise 10 “Cold Water Showers” - I’m pretty sure you won’t like this exercise. But I urge you to listen attentively what I have to say about it. Cold water showers have been used as cures and purification in several cultures around the world for centuries, so they are good for something! But to our purpose, they’re an excellent way to develop the IRON WILL you’re seeking.
So, here’s the last video of this course:
Part 1
Part 2
If you have any questions or comments let me know in the comment box below.
The next free course will be online next week June 13th. It’s called: “Whole Brain Functioning to Superior Mental Power” and it improves mainly Pillar 1 of Charisma (and also Pillar 4).
See you then!

Bruno,
I found this course to be a very effective introduction to the concept of developing willpower and find the exercises to be a very effective start.
I have a question regarding the use of the will to access subconscious and how viable it is to use ‘magick’ in this way. I looked at the recommended book ‘initiation to hermatics’, and ordered it when I saw the many positive reviews saying it contained good information and challenging exercises.
I saw the term ‘magick’ thrown around, and soon found that there exist many such religions that aim to harness the powers of the subconscious. I was excited at first, but soon found that the most predominant of these is something called ‘wicca’ and witchcraft, and is essentially neo pagan spirituality, and their spells involve rather hilarious actions such as lighting candles and speaking words. I find the thought of an adult doing this crap and expecting results rather disturbing.
I presume that much of this ‘magick’ is complete bullshit, but I was wondering if you had any advice as to how much of it is useful and how much of it is nonsense. I am eager for the hermetics book to come, as using specific techniques to willfully harness subconscious power seems incredible, but I have not been able to find anything comparing all these different religions and systems.
Seeing as you are very knowledgeable in the way of the will, I imagine you have at least some ideaas to what all this is, and hopefully you can set me upon the right path.
Grazie mille,
Methos
I have come to the conclusion that most of what is today called magick is new age crap meant to amuse ugly teenage girls who want to be witches and those of similar mental propensity. It is however, based on ancient and deeps practices that have been studied by many great minds.
Initiation to Hermetics is seemingly possibly the best modern teaching of the true occult. I am happy to have found it and will try to learn its ways in addition to my studies of willpower and charisma. It is not only a powerful self development too for the strong willed, but gives the interesting idea of going from initiate to buddha or the second coming of christ over the course of your journey.
Hey Methos,
Indeed your observation is correct. You need a lot of care in navigating through magick or new age books. I would say that 98% of them are really wishful thinking at best… however, there are a few of them which you can really take something out of it.
Franz Bardon’s book I recommended above is one of the best for developing a powerful Will. You’ll have many challenging exercises and you’ll definetely improve yourself as a human being – and also your charisma – as you do them.
Then you’ll have other magick books with great exercises for concentration, relaxation, charisma, and so on. Most of them, really blow out of the water the normal exercises for developing these skills that you’ll learn in psychology or self-improvement books.
But naturally these kind of books must be taken with a grain of salt. I hardly ever recommend them because I’m afraid people might take them too literally and think they can light a few candles and say a few words – as you say – and a genie will come out of a bottle ready to fulfill all their wishes. You already need to have a strong sense of reality and a well grounded self-belief to navigate through these kind of books and take what you think it’s useful and discard the rest… and on some books it might mean to discard 99% of the book just to take that ONE exercise that really makes a difference!
All the best,
Bruno
